Wish Ringo Starr a Happy 70th by Flashing a Peace and Love Sign at Noon Today

Ringo

Ringo Starr, drummer for the greatest band of all time (um, The Beatles) and all around good egg, is celebrating his 70th birthday today! Don't, however, get him a gift or anything. If you'd like to do something for him, he'd just prefer that you give a double peace and love sign (see above) at Noon TODAY. Watch his plea after the jump.

Ringo will be celebrating tonight by playing Radio City Music Hall tonight with his All-Starr Band. Before that, however, he'll be waving a peace sign at noon, and he encourages you, and everyone else on Earth, to do it.

Watch:

Not so hard, right? So wherever you are, why not give off some peace and love, at noon local time. In other cool Ringo news, his 1964 Ludwig snare has been accepted into the collection of the Metropolitan Museum Of Art. What do you get the man who has everything? That, apparently.

Video Of The Day: R. Kelly, "Sign Of A Victory"

Rkelly

R. Kelly was asked to provide the World Cup with its official anthem (if you're confused, Shakira's "Waka Waka" is the World Cup's official song) and, together with Soweto Spiritual Singers, he delivers. Watch after the jump.

Signofavictory

"Sign Of A Victory" is available as a single now.
